Truth
The truth is that I don’t want to like someone. I don’t want to have an illusion. I don’t want somebody there. Why should I? So I can just have my hopes up and know that they won’t stick around. I don’t want the “it’s happening again” feeling. I like you, but this time I have to think about me first. I’m first this time. That is the only truth.
